Built in 1939 over the Ganga River, Lakshman Jhula is one of the oldest bridges in India made from the iron hanging of around 450 feet long. The nearby area is filled with pilgrims, temples and local markets.
It has a mythical tales related to it according to which, Lakshman – the younger brother of Lord Rama's traversed through the river on jute ropes which are now indicated by an iron bridge.

Triveni Ghat


"Triveni Ghat is lying at the intersection of three sacred rivers Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati.  This site is linked by a mythological tale related to Lord Krishna. People take a bath on this convergence in other to get sanctified of all the sins, they did. Prayers are regularly offered by pilgrims in the Ghat along with chanting of holy Aarti which evokes spiritual ambiance. Here, stands one of the tallest idols of Lord Shiva stands. Best time to visit Rishikesh


It is an all-time halt for travelers, even in monsoon when the Ganga’s gush with extra flow. Due to its location in the foothills of Himalaya, it acts as a fresh breakout from daily chaos. It bursts with tourists during March, April, May, September, and October.
Note-River rafting and camping are not available during monsoon, due to torrential downpour and landslides

  •   By Train- Haridwar track is well linked with trains from Lucknow, Dehradun, Delhi, Mumbai  and other major cities
  •   By Bus- Rishikesh has a good network connection of buses with important places such as Delhi, Dehradun, and Haridwar
  •  Road/Self Drive- National Highway 58 is the major connector.
