Nepal

coupled with a safari type atmosphere. The altitude of the place is 100 metres
in various areas that is much lower than the altitude of Kathmandu around 1400
metres.

Swayambhunath- or the monkey temple is one of the major
tourist attractions of Nepal. The name derives from the fact that there are
resident monkeys in the premises of the temple. The stupa of Swayambhunath is
situated at the centre of the temple complex that is a major attraction. The
earthquake too did not spare the temple and significant damages were reported
as well.

One of the
popular trekking regions of Nepal is the Annapurna region. The trekking options
can stretch from a few days to weeks. Normally there are three major routes in
this region which link or combine at different junctures. But as trekker you
can opt for any route of your choice.
