·         Bodhnath- it is one of the largest stupas of the world. The traces of its origin date back to the 6th century B.C or it could be much before that as well. It is a symbol of enlighten and there are different shapes that depict five important elements of Lord Buddha.

·         Pokhara- situated around 200 kms west from Kathmandu; it is the entry point to the Himalayas. Though it is the second largest city in Nepal, it does not look that way. When you head from the Kathmandu valley you will find that the place is clean with a pleasant climate.


·         National park of Chitwan- if you are keen to experience a new side of Nepal then this is the place to head forth. It is a place for wildlife coupled with a safari type atmosphere. The altitude of the place is 100 metres in various areas that is much lower than the altitude of Kathmandu around 1400 metres.

·         Swayambhunath- or the monkey temple is one of the major tourist attractions of Nepal. The name derives from the fact that there are resident monkeys in the premises of the temple. The stupa of Swayambhunath is situated at the centre of the temple complex that is a major attraction. The earthquake too did not spare the temple and significant damages were reported as well.

One of the popular trekking regions of Nepal is the Annapurna region. The trekking options can stretch from a few days to weeks. Normally there are three major routes in this region which link or combine at different junctures. But as trekker you can opt for any route of your choice.
In a lot of ways the Annapurna region is a walking belt as well. The landscape of the countryside of Nepal is something really appealing.
